Job Position Description
This is a newly created position is for 30-35 hours per week from 3pm till 9pm as the on-site supervisor. This candidate will be working with their team of cleaners on regular janitorial duties. In addition, they will be training, motivating, organizing shifts, and inspecting to ServiceMaster standards. This position plays an important role in ensuring all team members stay on task and completes their assignments. This is a perfect position for someone who is flexible and would like to start in a supervisory entry-level, move-up position in our company.
Requirements:
- Training cleaners on ServiceMaster's standards products, processes, and procedures to the individual account.
- Oversees team performance and ensures all assignments are completed in accordance with the set task schedule.
- Perform inspections and give construction performance feedback to team members
- Assign shifts and make necessary adjustments in case of call-in sick or no-shows.
- Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely, professional manner.
- Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude and contribute to the overall team effort including being in uniform, dependable, and on time
- Use proper PPE and safety equipment as required
- Open and lock facilities, enable and disable security system as required.
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in cleaning is preferred
- We will provide on-the-job training to those with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- The ability to be flexible and work at a fast-paced and multi-tasked job is a must.
- Has respect and understanding for co-workers and customers
- Must be able to communicate in English. Bilingual is a plus.
- Alternating weekend work with other managers
- Must have a valid driver's license with a safe record as a company vehicle will be used
- A background check will be completed
Physical Demands and Qualifications:
- Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching overhead, reaching forward. Must be able to lift and/or carry 45 lbs.
- Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses
- Contribute to a positive work environment with a pleasant attitude.
